Norbain announce winners of IFSEC 2010 competition

Norbain has announced the winners of the three unbelievable Mercedes-Benz World experiences offered in a competition to all visitors to their stand at IFSEC.
First prize goes to Simon George of Obsidian Security Ltd who, along with a guest, will be collected and driven to Mercedes-Benz World. Here they will enjoy a number of thrilling experiences including taking control of a 6.2 litre V8 AMG performance car to explore the facility’s purpose-built handling circuit. This will be followed by an exhilarating AMG passenger ride courtesy of a professional track driver, and last, but by no means least, a gripping state-of-the-art 4x4 adventure around 10-acres of off-road terrain.
A decadent pit-stop at the beautiful Gullwing restaurant will ensure there will be enough energy for the winners to enjoy the rest of the day, while an overnight stay at the Brooklands Hotel will provide an added touch of luxury. Of course, with Norbain always looking to exceed expectations, Simon will also be choosing a Mercedes-Benz of his choice to drive away the next day and keep for a week.
“I visited the Norbain stand to see the latest Vista products,” comments Simon. “In particular, I wanted to get a closer look at the PowerDome Pro range which was very impressive. I certainly never expected to win and I’m absolutely over the moon. I love driving and have always been a fan of the Mercedes brand so it’s perfect for me!”
The winners of the two runners-up prizes are Douglas Dean of Spectra Security and William Sivewright of Fortress Security. Along with a guest each, they will experience the power of the V8 AMG, take a high speed passenger ride, and take on the challenge presented by the 4x4 adventure.
