Raytec's Lighting Amnesty promotes 'Scrap & Save'

Dec 1 2009

Reading UK

Raytec, the UK's leading CCTV lighting manufacturer, has launched a 'Lighting Amnesty' campaign to alert public and private sector users, (i.e. local authorities, schools, power plants, industrial sites etc), to the amount of energy and money being wasted by older style CCTV and security lighting.

With the aim of the initiative to save taxpayers and private businesses thousands of pounds, the scrap-and-save scheme from Raytec offers installers cash back to make the switch from wasteful older CCTV lighting, to new energy saving LED technology. Ultimately, this will help end-users to significantly reduce their power consumption, CO2 emissions and running costs.

This can be achieved by the use of Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators from Raytec - which deliver lower power consumption, provide longer life, lower running costs and zero maintenance; compared to older style lighting, which is also extremely slow to start up.

Raytec's Lighting Amnesty runs from 1st October to 31st January 2010 (UK only).
"During the Lighting Amnesty campaign, Raytec are offering free site surveys and energy reports detailing the annual CO2 and cost savings that could be made by switching to Raytec's low energy LED illuminators," says Vince Bessell, Norbain's Business Development Executive for Raytec."
